FOOTPRINT MAP STYLES — Truehost upload

Upload and extract this ZIP into the document root of maps.meridiandigital.co.ke,
beside maps.php, pmtiles-reader.php and the existing data folder.
Overwrite maps.php when prompted: this only tidies JSON coordinate formatting.
The data folder and pmtiles-reader.php remain in place from the previous upload.

Check Nairobi streets, Kenya overview, and the three theme buttons.
Keep the fonts and vendor folders exactly as extracted. Font directory names
contain spaces; preserve them. All map assets are hosted on your own domain.

Once the preview works, add these to the app's .env and EAS preview environment:

Rebuild the installed native app. Expo Go does not use MapLibre offline packs.
Changing .env alone does not change an already installed preview build.
The default is Forest. For a different fixed map theme, use style-ocean.json or
style-clay.json as the style URL. Automatic syncing with the app theme is not
implemented by this package.

Coverage: Kenya overview through zoom 10, Nairobi area through zoom 15.
Outside Nairobi the overview can be enlarged, but it adds no finer detail.
The app's Around me option cannot create street detail outside the hosted area.
An app-side coverage guard remains to be added before a public launch.

This is a custom initial style with roads, water, buildings, place names and
selected points of interest. It is not a navigation or address-search service.
The preview page checks online rendering; it does not prove native offline
behavior. On the iPhone, download a pack, wait until Ready offline, disable
Wi-Fi/mobile data, reopen the app and inspect labels and roads.

Validation: styles pass the official MapLibre style specification validator.
Font assets are complete for the Noto Sans Regular archive (256 PBF ranges).
PHP tile reading was previously checked against 405 reference tiles. Physical
phone rendering, offline caching and shared-server load testing remain required.

Fonts: Noto Sans Regular from protomaps/basemaps-assets; SIL Open Font License
is included in fonts/OFL.txt. MapLibre GL JS 5.6.1 preview runtime license is
included in vendor/MapLibre-LICENSE.txt. Map data: OpenStreetMap contributors,
Protomaps. Attribution is included in the map sources. Keep it visible.
